Swagman is a 1972 36' Cheoy Lee built Sigma 36. The Sparkman and Stephens design 1710 was produced by several European manufacturers, including Nautor with it's model "Swan 36". Except for her initial 8 months, Swagman has had one owner for 49 years. The base and cruising area has largely been the Chesapeake Bay. Swagman placed second in the inaugural Annapolis to Bermuda race and presently participates in Club racing, including the Wednesday Night Racing series in St. Michaels. Her PHRF rating is 192.

She has been upgraded over the years, replacing among other items the teak deck with fiberglass, adding a shower and hot water, and installing refrigeration, shore power and electrical panels. A more compact Universal 25 hp diesel engine replaced the bulkier Yamaha engine, resulting in more room for the main cabin. Electronics include Raymarine MFD, GPS, tiller autopilot, VHF and Stereo.

Accommodation includes 6 berths, v-berth with insert and 4 singles.

?Swagman has a Sitka Spruce mast, boom and Spinnaker pole, as well as jiffy reefing and roller furling. She is a classic design, quality built, and ready for more cruising and/or racing.
